The new Renault Kiger has just been launched in South Africa. This beauty, also defined as a sub-4-metre compact SUV, boosts Renault’s offering in the best-selling B-SUV segment. The price, however, is more in line with a hatchback. The Kiger is the ideal car for day-to-day driving in the city, but it is equally at home on the roads less travelled.
The Renault Kiger is a tough, dynamic SUV, generously proportioned and luxuriously appointed. The sporty and muscular exterior is pure SUV, while the new Kiger’s long-wheelbase gives it plenty of space inside. The smart cabin has been specifically designed to inspire sharing and accessibility.
Launched in India early in 2024, the all-new Renault Kiger is built in the ultra-modern factory in Chennai and exported around the world.

The new Renault Kiger is powered by a three-cylinder naturally aspirated 1-litre or 1-litre turbo petrol. These modern engines will give the Kiger plenty of grunt, along with very good fuel consumption. The Renault Kiger in South Africa has the option of either manual transmission, an automatic AMT or the easy–drive X-Tronic CVT.
The Kiger SUV warranties and service plan include a 3 year/ 45,000km service plan with the Kiger Turbo or a 2 year/ 30,000km service plan with the non-turbo model, as well as a 5 year/ 150,000 warranty and a 6 year anti-rust warranty. Services are performed every 15,000km.
