2024 Renault Megane Engine Specs
The Renault Megane’s all new Turbo 97kW Engine is just one of three powertrain options that are designed to be economical, while still offering maximum driving pleasure. Both this and the GT 151kW Turbo option are built using expertise gained in F1® Racing, with intrinsic parts of the engine offering ground-breaking turbo technology, high tumble strategy and friction reduction. Renault Megane Review
Excellent quality, smooth ride and good-value, three very important things to remember when you decide to purchase a Renault Megane from Group1 Renault. All powertrain types offer this and so much more to the prospective New Renault Vehicle buyer, so with this in mind our Renault Megane Review we will be taking a general look at the Megane range.
No matter how you look at it, the Megane is a safe and refined family hatchback. It offers neat styling, a choice of economical (yet powerful) engines and it drives more like a sports car than a family car both in the city and on the open road. Interior wise the dashboard is sensibly laid out and thanks to a spacious passenger and driver area it is easy to get comfortable in while driving. In our opinion the Megane Dynamique 84 kW is a good all-rounder that offers good ride quality and a fun drive without compromising on any other aspect of the driving experience. From a safety perspective the Megane also performs well and previous models have been awarded the maximum 5-star rating in Euro NCAP crash tests (the latest model is still to be tested).

Although the Expression is also a fantastic car, we think that the Dynamique trim level pips it at the post due to the abundant convenience features that come as standard. These features include, but are not limited to: 7″ TFT Screen, Multimedia Touchscreen and TomTom® South African Mapping. Additionally this trim level comes standard with Front and Rear Curtain Airbags.
What are the variants of the Renault Megane?
