The Renault Kadjar is a stylish new mid-size crossover that is based on the same automotive engineering platform as the Nissan Qashqai. It is even rumoured that thanks to the sharing of safety and tech features the two vehicles have up to 60 per cent of their parts in common, however due to some imaginative Renault design work 95 per cent of what you see and feel in the new Kadjar is a complete Renault driving experience. Want to see why this is? Then watch this British review of the new Renault Kadjar below:
What Does This Mean For SA Drivers?
The Qashqai was voted a SA Car of the Year Finalist when it arrived in 2014, but since then Renault has managed to take the basic design of this much loved crossover and better it in the Kadjar in almost every way. So much so in fact that it is in our opinion going to be the one vehicle in the country to offer South African drivers the chance to enjoy a vehicle that is built using a winning blend of desirability, quality, practicality and exceptionally low running costs. All of which will combine to ensure the Kadjar is a hit with local drivers as soon as it launches in 2016!
